Holiday Happiness 2025 – Event Recap

Holiday Happiness 2025 was truly an opportunity to be part of Santa’s workshop!

The tradition carried on as, once again, we were hosted by Impact Church in Scottsdale. Their staff, set-up crew and tech team helped create a flawless flow of activity, assisting us with a joy-filled morning for all our guests and moms!

This is a long-time favorite tradition, for us, as well as the single moms and hundreds of gift donors, gift wrappers and volunteers who help pull it all together, with a bow on top!

And it is not your typical gift donation activity!

Gift donors register to “adopt” a family and shop from the children’s wish lists plus they also get to attend Holiday Happiness, with those UNwrapped gifts in tow. Inside, they are seated with the mom whose children they shopped for and wrap her family’s gifts together. (we provide all the supplies!).

As they wrap and learn more about the mom, her goals and her children, everyone at the table participates. There is laughter, talking and yes- sometimes crying (guests and our moms, alike!).

The morning includes recognition of all our moms in attendance, as well as an on-stage celebration of the fall graduates.

This year the group enjoyed a very special motivational message from Board President, Michelle Campuzano, herself a former alumni of our scholarship program and now an Executive Director of a nonprofit in Phoenix with 150 people on staff. Combined with a message from our 500th Graduate ~ a single mom student in social work, now continuing on for her Masters of Social Work degree ~ along with greetings from our founder and executive director, the stage program concluded with a joyful directive from Emcee, Kim Covington: “Let the wrapping begin!”

The result: A beautiful, meaningful and heartwarming morning ~ one that truly puts you in the holiday spirit of caring for others!
